Hi, Hoi, Yo!

I'm Dyde (Dee-Duh), a video creator with over five years of experience in both videography and editing. I have a deep passion for art direction in visual storytelling and an unyielding drive to create content that pops. From crafting compelling narratives to perfecting seamless transitions, I'm all about bringing stories to life through the magic of a cut.

Editing and filmmaking has always been a part of my life. My Dad is a Director and watching and shadowing him I learned to appreciate the art of editing - where you can transform the creative chaos into its polished form. I love how editing demands collaboration, rhythm, and a healthy dose of obsession. My journey took me to UC Berkeley, where I delved into Media Studies to understand the theoretical side of our media landscape, laying a solid foundation for my career.

After Berkeley, I moved to Amsterdam, where I discovered my community and home. I kicked off with the classic hustle and grind, working for YouTube channels, Dutch TV, and any gig I could find. Then I joined Intermission Film, a trailer agency where I immersed myself in sound design, international cinema, and crafting content that resonates globally.

These days, I'm freelancing with a focus on trailers and commercial videos. Some recent clients include DocMakers, Corona, Kraken Crypto Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, and Calvin Klein. I love the diversity of projects freelancing brings and the chance to collaborate with an ever-growing circle of creatives. I'm always up for a chat and eager to expand my creative network. Please reach out—I can't wait to meet you and explore potential projects together!
